Friday, January 17
  • Washburn School District Students Invite you to “The Fisherman and His Wife”, a musical comedy premiering Friday, January 17th at 6:30 p.m. at the Washburn District Elementary School gym.
  • Mother Nature won't keep BigRock from having fun! Does everyone remember thier "Tebow for Snow" campaign two years ago? Starting today they have a new campaign. Make a video of you doing your best Snow Dance and post it to their Facebook page. Have fun with it. Be creative. Add music or anything you would like. Their only rule is that you keep it clean and appropriate. The video with the most likes by January 24th is eligible for a Bigrock Prize Pack!


Saturday, January 18
What are your Saturday night plans? Let BigRock take care of you. Go to their supper from 5-7 and then enter their Super Raffle! Where else can you get a meal and a prize this Saturday night? That's right. Only at Bigrock


Monday, January 20
Community members, including families with children who have the Holiday off from school, are welcome to join in the MLK 1K at TAMC. No pre-registration is required. Participants are asked to arrive at the main entrance of the hospital by 12:00 noon. Free healthy snacks will be served following the run/walk. For more information, call 768-4044.


Friday, January 24
The UMPI Owl Relay for Life Team will be hosting their 3rd Annual Stew Night at the Presque Isle Snowmobile Club (Echo Lake Drive) on Friday, January 24th from 5-7 pm. There will be stew, chili, and chowder as well as hot dogs, chili dogs, and desserts and much more (cost will run from $1 to $6 on single items/combos). Friday, January 31
Presque Isle Youth Hockey will be hosting a Stew Night at the Presque Isle Snowmobile Club (Echo Lake Drive) on Friday, January 31 from 5-7 pm. There will be stew, chili, and chowder as well as hotdogs, chili dogs, and apple crisp. The prices will range from $1 to $6. The Presque Isle Youth Hockey Association is a Volunteer run organization challenging kids to be team players and physically active.
